Pewën de Apalta, Floresta, and Triple C were featured in two events held in New York, where critics, buyers, sommeliers, and influential industry professionals discovered some of South America’s most acclaimed labels.

On May 11 and 12, Viña Santa Rita presented in New York a selection of wines from its high-end Colección de Origen portfolio, a range inspired by Chile’s endemic diversity that seeks to express the identity, richness, and potential of some of the country’s finest terroirs.

Organised by renowned wine journalist Patricio Tapia, Descorchados NYC brought together the top-rated wines from its 2026 Guide alongside leading figures in the wine industry. On this occasion, the winery showcased Pewën de Apalta 2024, named Best Carmenère in Chile five times in the publication, and Floresta Chardonnay 2024, a highly expressive white wine with strong ageing potential.

It also participated in Sip of South America, an event organised by US media outlet Wine Enthusiast, where attendees tasted the 2023 vintage of Carmenère Pewën de Apalta, and Triple C, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Carmenère. The event featured around 40 wineries from the region and approximately 150 wines rated 90+ points by the publication.

These two events provided an opportunity to showcase the richness of Chile’s main valleys and Santa Rita’s winemaking approach in one of the most relevant showcases for South American wines in the United States.
