Viña Santa Rita’s flagship wine participated in the renowned U.S. fine wine exhibition, presenting the 2015, 2019, 2021 and 2022 vintages to more than 500 collectors and wine industry professionals.

On June 6, a new edition of the prestigious Decanter Fine Wine Encounter took place in New York City. Organized by Decanter magazine, the event brought together hundreds of fine wine enthusiasts who had the opportunity to explore the history and evolution of Casa Real, a wine that has established itself as one of the leading international expressions of its variety.

Marie-Charlotte Fraysse, Commercial Director of Casa Real, presented a selection of four vintages of this iconic Cabernet Sauvignon: 2015, 2019, 2021 and 2022. The tasting highlighted the legacy of this South American icon, sourced from a historic 20-hectare vineyard in Alto Jahuel, Maipo Valley, specifically within the Carneros Viejo and Población sectors. Planted on its own roots during the 1970s and 1980s, these old massal-selection vines produce grapes of exceptional quality that faithfully express one of the world’s finest terroirs for the variety.

Casa Real is produced only in exceptional vintages. Each vintage is a new opportunity to explore and interpret this unique origin with ever-greater precision, honoring its essence and allowing it to shine in every bottle.

More than 500 guests attended this year’s Decanter Fine Wine Encounter in New York, where the Grand Tasting featured over 200 fine wines from 50 wineries around the world.
